I don´t even know how to start this. To say, well actually to type Kathmandu is amazing is just an understatement. This city is just out of this world. There is undervelopment, poverty, chaos, noise, pollution everywhere you look at.
Yet, this country is full with beauty.
Yet this country has the nicest, warmest people I´ve ever meet in my life.
I´ve made friends with a young lama monk student (we even are facebook friends now). I received a singing bowl healing. I drank masala tea with a shop owner in Thamel who happened to witnessed the rise and fall of Freak Street when Kathmandu (KTM) was one of the meca of the hippie trail (and no, he does not sells tea at all).
I knew this trip will be unforgettable. It´s just I didn´t know how.
Day 3 and I cannot stop to think, feel, smell and live this enlightening city.

No sé ni por donde comenzar. Decir, o más bien escribir, que Katmandu (KTM) es increíble, es quedarme corta. Ésta ciudad es simplemente otro mundo. Hay tanto subdesarrollo, pobreza, caos, ruido, polución a todas horas, por donde tus ojos se fijen.
Y aún asi, éste pais es hermoso.
Y aún así, éste pais tiene la gente mas amable y amigable que he conocido en mi vida.
Hice amistad con un joven estudiante monje lama (y ya hasta amigos somos en facebook). Recibí sanación por medio de singing bowl. Bebí masala té (el verdadero chai) con el dueño de una tienda en Thamel; quién presenció el surgimiento y caída de la mítica Freak Street cuando Katmandu (KTM) era una de las mecas del hippie trail (y no, el Don no vende tés).
Desde antes de llegar a KTM ya sabía yo que éste sería un viaje inolvidable. Es sólo que no sabía cómo.
Día 3 y no puedo dejar de pensar, sentir, oler, admirar, sufrir y vivir ésta ciudad que se ha impregnado en mi. KTM es enlightening.
