Sometimes when we find ourselves reproducing the same action every single boring day of our lives, somehow we forget that what we are doing is as a matter of fact something unique and fantastic.
Whenever I see this photograph I took of this chinese cook repeating the same coordinated movement, cutting the noodles and at the same time with that same movement pusingh them to the hot marmite with stock where the dao xian mian (knife cut noodles) will be cooked, I tend to feel bit sad thinking he might not know how much happiness he imprints on other people´s lives (imagine a kid, a tourist or worse a foodie watching this spectacle for the first time in their lives) .
Where the noodles cook experience boredom the rest of us find expertise, knowledge, synchronicity.

Algunas veces nos encontramos reproduciendo mecánicamente una misma acción cada aburrido día de nuestras vidas, y de alguna manera tambien, olvidamos que lo que estamos haciendo, es más bien un hecho único y fantastico.
Me pasa que cuando veo ésta fotografía que tomé de éste cocinero chino repitiendo el mismo coordinado movimiento de cortar los noodles (tallarines) de la masa y al mismo tiempo con ése corte marcar la trayectoria para que el dao xian mian (knife cut noodle) caiga en la marmita que contiene el caldo en el que se cocerán los tallarines, me pongo un poco triste al pensar que tal vez éste cocinero simplemente no sabe cuánta felicidad y alegria imprime en la vida de los demás (imaginen a un niño, un turista o peor aún a un foodie viendo éste espectáculo por primera vez).
Donde el cocinero sólo ve aburrimiento, el resto de nosotros encontramos experiencia, conocimiento, sincronía.
